A warm welcome to Exmouth
Your journey to Exmouth, either by road, rail or sea, is the start of a fantastic adventure
to the Jurassic Coast. The scenery from both sides of the Exe Estuary, internationally
known for its abundance of wildlife and nautical facilities, is a prime example of all that
the county of Devon represents. Upon entry to our town, you will be greeted by our
magnificent floral displays, which, over the past number of years, have been awarded a
Britain in Bloom Gold award.
Why not visit our Cafe Quarter, situated in The Strand, which also hosts our War Memorial,
before you take a pleasant walk along the Esplanade to our iconic clock tower and
memorial flagpoles. Exmouth has so much to offer, whether you are: looking to relax on
the two miles of golden sandy beach, taking part in kitesurfing, cycling along the Exe
Estuary Trail, bird watching on the idyllic Exe Estuary or simply walking and enjoying the
stunning scenery of the majestic World Heritage Jurassic Coast. I feel Exmouth has it all.
I wish you a pleasant stay and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
Cllr Jeff Trail BEM, Mayor of Exmouth, 2018-19
