LOOKING FOR FRESH LOCAL PRODUCE, PREPARED BY SOME OF THE BEST CHEFS? WITH OUR VAST RANGE OF CAFÉS,
RESTAURANTS, PUBS AND TAKEAWAYS, THERE’S A MOUTH-WATERING ARRAY OF CHOICE WHEN IT COMES TO EATING
OUT IN EXMOUTH.
Exmouth’s spectacular location on the
River Exe, with its wonderful natural
larder of fresh seafood, inspires many of
our award-winning restaurants.
The floating River Exe Cafe is a gem: a
pontoon in the middle of the Estuary, with
the most heart-stopping sunsets and a menu
which is brimming with fish and shellfish. If
you don’t have a boat of your own, the Puffin
Water Taxi from Exmouth Marina will ferry
you out and back.
At our fantastic cafes and delis, you can find
everything from traditional Devon cream
teas to authentic Italian ice cream, or you can
fill up on good old English fare from many of
the serving pubs.
Exmouth is also home to several top chefs.
Mitch Tonks opened Rockfish in 2016
and Michael Caines, one of Britain’s most
celebrated and best known chefs, has
opened a luxury country retreat, Lympstone
Manor, on the outskirts of Exmouth.
